Merry Christmas, Reece Page 3

Reece complied and Marsha got up to examine it closer. The tall woman put her tongue away and gave the older woman a very puzzled look.

"Violet was just enlightening me on the many delightful uses of a tongue piercing."

To her great displeasure, Reece began to blush.

"Oh come now Theresa, like I don't know what you and my daughter do in private. She practically screams out step by step instructions."

To her even greater displeasure, Reece began to sweat.

"Congratulations Mrs. Ashford, you've rendered her speechless."

Reece bolted out of the room in embarrassment.

"Baby? Where are you run... is that a blush?" Faith marched over to inspect.

"I don't think I've ever seen her so red before." Cori noted of her tall friend.

Reece shot the dancer a withering look. "Your mother is going to kill me one day, I swear to it." Reece buried her hot face in Faith's neck.

Faith shook her head in sympathy. "Don't I know it honey. What did she do?"

"You truly don't want to know. Where's your dad?"

"In the guest room watching television, why?" Faith rubbed her wife's back soothingly.

"This..." The club owner grabbed Faith's butt with both hands and pushed her up against the counter in a hot, wet kiss.

  "Mph!" Faith gasped in surprise.

"Just reminding you about our little talk." Reece smiled evilly and left Faith standing once again breathless.

Cori just watched in fascination as her friend tried to gather herself together. "Is this what it's like to live with you two?"

  "She thinks she's torturing me."

"Well isn't she?" The dancer snickered.

"Nope. I'll get her back at the club later." Faith grinned deviously.

  "That you will my friend."

To her utter defeat, Reece decided she'd be the safest watching television with the old man. She ambled into the guest room and sat down in the chair silently, nodding at the man when he acknowledged her presence. After a few minutes of silence and mindlessly watching the TV, the tall woman began to relax.

"So, uh, are you working tonight?" Quinn asked, attempting to start a conversation.

"Yep." Reece answered as she propped a long denim clad leg on the chair.

Quinn seemed to study her leg before he spoke. "I saw you on television, escorting Faith to an interview. You looked good all dressed up." He tried to compliment.

"Wait'll ya see what I wear to work." She chuckled.

"Yeah?" Mr. Ashford looked genuinely interested.

  "Tails." Reece grinned.

"Must look good on you, you have the legs for it."

"I give ya an E for effort pops, you're really trying. Thanks. I do look good if I say so myself." The club owner smiled smugly. "You're daughter thinks so too."

"Faith thinks the sun rises and sets over you." he said, looking her right in the eyes.

Reece was taken aback at the statement and merely pursed her lips and nodded.

"I didn't mean to embarrass you. In the beginning, tried to figure out what she first saw in you, I never could."

A black eyebrow raised and Reece cocked her head.

"But now...I see how you treat her, protect her and love her too. She trusts you so unconditionally. I trust you too, to keep making her happy... smiling." He said looking down at his feet.

"You know Pops, I can only try my best, its all I can do. In the beginning even I couldn't find one likeable thing about myself either. I fought her tooth and nail to stay away from me. I am so lucky that she's so damned stubborn. Faith's changed me, I like myself more, I like how I make her feel." the tall woman confessed to the most unlikely person.

"Reece, I'm an old man set in my ways. I still don't get this whole same sex thing, but I'm trying. For my daughter. When I try to figure out what she sees in you now I can come up with a few things. I guess what I'm trying to say is, You're ok."

Reece smiled brightly. "Thanks Mr. A. You're ok to."

  "DINNER'S READY!"

They stood up and faced itch other awkwardly.

"You're not going to hug me are you?" Quinn asked uncomfortably.

  "Not on your life."

Quinn let out a heavy sigh of relief as they walked out of the room together.

Seating was an issue as they all stood around the dining room table looking at each other. Faith decided on an arrangement that would suit everyone and pointed to each seat as she told each person where to sit. Reece, Violet, her, Quinn, Marsha, then Cori to the other side of Reece. She was pretty proud of her achievement, but found her wife pouting slightly at her choice.

Reece knew neither Cori or Violet should be sitting next to Quinn, and she'd be more than comfortable to be as far away from him as possible, so Faith's arrangement was good, but she would rather have the opportunity to be next to her wife. I am just too damned mushy lately. She thought with a small frown.

Faith noticed Reece's expression and cleared her throat while everyone got settled. Once blue eyes turned on her she blew a little kiss which seemed to placate Reece somewhat as she smiled fleetingly. Patience my needy little wife. Patience. she thought with an inward chuckle.

"Everything looks wonderful Sweetheart!" Marsha exclaimed.

"Thanks mom, everyone helped, even Reece." Faith smiled at the club owner who nodded slightly.

"You cooked?" Quinn asked in astonishment.

"I helped, you won't catch me dead cooking." Reece chuckled.

"Ok, lets eat." Cori cut in, suddenly starving.

"Wait a minute! Isn't anyone going to say grace?" Marsha asked expectantly.

"Grace, Mrs. A?" Cori asked in puzzlement.

"In our house we always gave thanks when the family was together. Right Faith?"

Faith nodded, shooting a worried glance at her lover who looked slightly panicked at the news.

"Really now," Violet mock chastised her girlfriend, equally as hungry. "Don't you know anything?"

"We'll go around the table. Ok, I'll start." Marsha said with a pensive look on her face. "I'm thankful for being here with my baby, I'm thankful that she's achieved her dream, and has someone who loves her to share it with her. I'm thankful for my health and the health of those I love."

  Reece blushed slightly.

"Your turn Cori." Faith interrupted, hiding her own blush.

"Ok, I'm thankful for having the most wonderful friends I could hope for, finding the light of my life in Violet, and being able to share Christmas with this family."

"That was so sweet babe." Violet smiled, touched by Cori's words.

Cori smiled evilly. "Your turn Reece."

The club owner swallowed hard, she looked to Faith who nodded in encouragement. "Well, ok..." She started, not knowing what she was going to say. "I'm thankful for, uh... this." she gestured to the table. "I never had a family, I never knew love, I never had a friend except Frankie. I'm thankful for everyone here, even you Pops, but especially Faith. If she didn't take the chance on me, I wouldn't have anything to be thankful for right now."

Faith couldn't control herself and she ran over and kissed her wife passionately, right in front of everyone. Reece was startled by the sudden show of affection but returned the kiss without argument.

"Daddy's busting a valve." Cori piped up at the sudden look of dismay on the man's face.

Faith pulled back and looked into Reece's eyes, attempting to convey all the love she felt for the woman at that very moment. It must have worked, because blue eyes spoke volumes right back at her.

"Ok, well then...." Marsha sputtered. Not so upset at her daughter's behavior as she was choked up. That kiss was so deep, it was almost spiritual. She was suddenly struck with the depth of the emotion they shared. "Your turn, dear."

Smudge scratched at Reece's leg and she picked him up and set him on her lap, still frowning at his outfit.

"I'm thankful for everything. Let's eat."

  "Quinn!" Marsha scolded. Ê
/>   "Well, I'm hungry!"

"That's ok Mr. A, I gotchya." Violet agreed. "Faith you go."

"I'm so incredibly thankful for having my family around me again, I'm thankful for the most special friends anyone could ask for, even if they do look like freaks, and I'm infinitely thankful to have found Reece. I'm thankful that I am a successful actress, but it would mean nothing to me without every one of you besides me to share it with. I love you guys."

Reece smiled at Faith, a loving knowing smile that was returned whole heartedly. She just knew if she got up and kissed her wife, Quinn would stroke out.

"My turn and we can eat!" Violet exclaimed. "I'm thankful for Reece pushing me at Cori that fateful night. If it weren't for her, I never would have met my soulmate, or her friends and family. I'm also thankful that we can eat now."

"FOOD!" Cori yelled as they all began to dig in at once.

Faith started for the turkey but then suddenly realized the one thing they forgot. "Oh god! No one carved the bird!"

Reece snickered and stood up. "Show me to the knife babe." She handed the dog to Quinn who looked stricken,. holding the pup and staring at his face. "He'll lick you if you hold him like that Pops."

Quinn's face pinched severely. "He'll pee too." He grimaced so badly his eyes disappeared.

"Well if you didn't squeeze him so damned hard..." Reece stalked over and took back Smudge, scolding him slightly for show but kissing his nose in reward for a job well done. "Here ya go little man." she placed him back on the floor and went about looking for a knife.

Faith tried to hold it in, but the shocked look on her father's face did her in. She began to laugh out loud.

"Faith dear, it's not that funny." Marsha said, turning various shades of red as she tried to hold in her own laughter.

Cori just shrugged and grabbed for the yams, handing one to her girlfriend.

"Excuse me, but I can't eat Christmas dinner covered in dog urine!" Quinn was actually smirking at his own luck.

Reece threw the dish towel at him and received a smack from her wife.

"Go get him one of your shirts Reece." she demanded, still smiling.

"Oh alright. Who's gonna carve the turkey then?"

"I will." Violet offered taking the knife out of Reece's hand. "Watch and learn." She said cockily.

Reece rolled her eyes. "C'mon pops, lets go get you a clean shirt.

"Hey Marsh, could pass the biscuits?" Cori asked as they were the only two at the table.

"Sure dear, here ya go. Mustn’t let the food get cold." she winked, tucking into a piece of Turkey that Violet just provided her.

  "Amen sistah."

Quinn looked at himself in the mirror. "I don't really want to wear this shirt to a family dinner. Its so, so.."

"It's perfect. Don't you worry, there's no photographers out there." Reece held back her devious smirk at the man's T shirt. "You saw how my dress shirts fit you. Besides, if I'm wearing jeans, you can wear a T shirt."

"But I don't get it. Who's your daddy? Why would you want a shirt that says that?" He asked in puzzlement.

Reece shrugged and turned her back on the man, pretending to smooth out her blanket. "It was a gift, from your daughter, she seems to like it." She bit out through her clenched teeth.

"Well, alright, but I still don't get it. You're right though, after Cori's antics the shirt does fit the occasion." He agreed with a half smile.

"See? Its perfect I told you." Reece nodded, eyes wide in an attempt to show innocence.

Faith and Cori were on their second glass of wine, Marsha on her third vodka tonic and Violet was on her first beer. All four women were nearly finished with dinner by the time Quinn and Reece came back into the kitchen. Unfortunately, Faith just took a mouthful of wine as her father spread his arms to show off his T-shirt. She didn't know how much it would burn as the wine shot out of her nose.

"Faith!" Marsha yelled, grabbing a napkin and blotting at her silk blouse.

"Oh honey, that had to hurt." Reece ran to her wife's side and received a hard smack in the arm for her concern.

"Oh god..." The actress moaned nasally. "That burned... bad." she blew her nose in a napkin and then gave Reece an evil glare.

"Nice shirt, Mr. Ashford." Violet snickered, and Cori covered her whole face with a napkin.

"I just can't figure out why Faith would buy it for Reece though." he wondered.

The blush that covered Faith's face was bright and hot. She sucked in her bottom lip so she wouldn't moan pitifully in embarrassment, watching Reece sit in her seat the perfect example of innocence.

Marsha, strangely quiet, sat staring at her daughter with pursed lips. She knew all about what that shirt meant having watched many episodes of Jerry Springer.

"Cuz I'm the daddy that's why." Reece said with a devastatingly sexy grin aimed at her beet red lover.

"I thought I was the daddy." Quinn said in confusion, obviously not getting it.

"You're my daddy, dear." Marsha finally piped up.

"Ewww, mother!" Faith exclaimed with a sour face. "I don't want to know that."

Cori finally snorted out the laughter she was holding the entire time. Reece snickered at the dancer as she brought a fork full of mashed potatoes to her mouth.

Cori glanced at Reece who opened her mouth and showed her the potatoes so the dancer flicked yam at her off of her own fork.

Faith glared at her friend and wiped the yam off of her forehead.

"Oops, that was meant for Reece." Cori explained, flicking again.

"Hey!" Reece yelled, as the orange glob hit her hand. She promptly threw a piece of dinner roll at the dancer.

"That's enough out of you two!" Faith threw her napkin down on her plate and gave the both women evil looks. "I swear, it's like you guys turn into four year olds when you're together." she shook her head.

Cori showed Faith her chewed turkey, Reece made a fist by the side of her head and began cranking mashed potatoes out of her mouth. Marsha giggled and Quinn smirked. Faith threw her hands up and finished off her glass of wine.

"I love you baby." Reece said sweetly, blowing a kiss at her wife.

Quinn stopped eating to see if Reece was going to get out of it that easily.

"I love you to Reece, but you are impossible sometimes." she said with a sigh. Reece pouted sexily at her and she finally smiled. "Ok, I forgive you." Green eyes glanced at the clock over the stove. "You better go get dressed for work, baby."

"Yeah, you're right, if you'll all excuse me." Reece said as she stood up and headed for the stairs.

"She has you exactly where she wants you, sweetheart." Marsha giggled.

"Your mother would never let me off the hook that easily, Faith." Quinn added.

"I know." Faith sighed heavily. "She knows every button and how to push them."

"That's cuz she loves to make up afterwards." Cori said with a wink.

"Boy does she ever..." Faith started but stopped when she saw her father's eyebrow raise.

"Faith dear, tell me, is she always on top?"

  "Mother!"

"That's enough vodka for you Marsha." Quinn said with a red face. He really didn't want to hear the answer to that question.

Faith took the drink away from her mother and leaned over to her ear. "No." she whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.

Quinn turned redder, Violet cheered and Cori waved her hand in the air.

"I knew that already." the dancer said proudly.

"But how in the world do you ..." Marsha started to ask.

"Easy, she'll do anything for me." Faith said with a smile.

Quinn let that sink in. He saw Reece in a whole different light now, and with a silly little comment about his daughter's sex life. He liked the club owner even more now seeing his daughter's confident face when she said that. He was sure it must have been proven in many different ways or Faith wouldn't have said it as surely as she did.

"Excuse me a second will you?" Faith stood up and
started to leave the room.

"I'm sure she can dress herself, Faith honey."

"She can mother, but it never hurt to have a helping hand." The actress smiled deviously as she left.

"Oh god, someone turn up the radio." Quinn commented.

"Why dear, you may learn something." Marsha said with a smile.

Cori and Violet laughed, happy to be sharing Christmas with Faith's parents.

Faith entered the bedroom as Reece was buttoning her tux shirt, and she slipped behind her and snuck her hands up the back of the shirt.

"Hi there, sexy." Reece said over her shoulder.

"Mmm, you feel so good." Faith purred, leaning her weight into her lover's back.

"So do you babe, but I gotta put on my pants."

"No," Faith stopped her wife from putting on the tuxedo pants. "Wear these." she said, going to the closet and pulling out a pair of black button fly's.

Reece looked quizzically at Faith. "Why those?" She wondered, those pants were kind of baggy.

Faith reached under her pillow and brought out a harness and dildo. "So you can wear this."

A black eyebrow raised high. "Faith?" The club owner asked, taking the harness from her lover's hand.

"Just do it... for me." Faith said, a sexy smile on her face.

Blue eyes narrowed but the tall woman did as she was asked, sliding her underwear off and stepping into the leather straps. "And why would you want me wearing this get up to work?" Reece asked skeptically.

"Knowing you have that on will drive me crazy all night long." The actress said with her best leer.

"But sweetie," Reece smirked. "You're still not getting any until your parents leave." She chuckled.

Faith pouted for show. "Do it anyway, and don't ask questions." she snatched Reece's underwear out of her hands as she was going to put them on. "No, leave them off."

"Faith, now you're beginning to worry me." Reece said seriously. "How am I going to deal all night with a dick swinging between my legs?"

"Oh please, those pants aren't that loose, nothing will be swinging." Faith rolled her eyes.

"Don't you think I'll be more comfortable with my boxer briefs holding it down?" She asked, not wanting to be constantly reminded of the dildo, nor of her threat to Faith about not getting any.
